- To clean the key hole, which may be hampered by dust or normal wear and tear, you should do the following:
Step a) Apply a liquid oil-based lubricant on the key blade.
Step b) Inset the key into the cylinder and rotate the key several times, by opening and closing the lock.
Step c) Remove and clean the key blade as it collects the dirty deposits, such as dust.
Repeat steps (a) to (c) until the key blade is clear of any deposits. The components are now cleaned and lubricated to maintain smooth operation key and precise internal mechanisms.
